Let me ask you a question. Do you follow tips for anti aging

based on the latest "what's your secret?" interview of the hottest

celebrity currently in the news? If so, you've probably jumped around

from one set of tips to another, only to be disappointed with the

results. The truth is, the only beauty secrets these celebrities have

are professional makeup and lighting artists. Other than that, these

women struggle with the exact same challenges of keeping young skin as

you do.

No, there really isn't any magic bullet that's going to

keep you young and beautiful. Fortunately, though, you can truly achieve

the youthful, healthy complexion you want, by sticking to tips for anti

aging which are based on common sense and sound recommendations for the

safest, healthiest substances for supporting your skin's natural

ability to remain young and vibrant. Keep reading to learn how you can

benefit from these tips.

Control Sun Exposure

Let's

face it. You can't completely eliminate exposure to the sun. The truth

is you need sunlight to receive necessary doses of Vitamin D. Without

it, your bone health can be compromised, along with your immunity.

Moderate

exposure is fine. It's the overexposure to sunlight which has the

potential for making you old and wrinkled before your time. This is

because large doses of sunlight can harm your production of a substance

known as hyaluronan, whose job it is to repair your damaged tissues.

And I'm sure you're well-aware of the fact that too much sun puts you at risk for skin cancer.

So

controlling sun exposure is as simple as staying out of the sun during

peak sunshine hours, which are 10 in the morning until 2 in the

afternoon. If you absolutely have to go outdoors during this period,

just wear a hat or use a parasol. You should also make sure your arms

are covered with long sleeves.

You may have noticed that I haven't

said anything about using sunscreen. Well, sunscreen really isn't

healthy because it is made with a whole bunch of synthetic chemicals.

These substances expose you to unnecessary health risks which you are

better off avoiding.

Increase the Amount of Water You Drink

Any

effective tips for anti aging will include the recommendation to

increase your water intake. Water for your body is like motor oil for

your car. Water keeps your entire physical system, including your skin,

working properly. Keeping your skin cells properly hydrated allows them

to function at optimal levels, which means they produce the natural

substances which keep your skin smooth and supple.

Turbo-Charge Your Diet

You

may not realize it, but increasing your intake of green, leafy

vegetables can have a tremendous beneficial effect on your skin. These

foods contain loads of antioxidant which go to work destroying harmful

free radicals.

The #1 cause of aging skin are free radicals. These

menacing molecules go after your healthy skin cells in order to steal

what they need to survive. Without a way to battle free radicals your

skin begins to lose its tone and texture. That's why it's so important

to keep healthy levels of antioxidants coursing through your skin to

defend against any damage. And the easiest, most powerful way to do this

is to eat your vegetables.

Support Your Skin Cells With All-Natural Substances

Among

the most important tips for anti aging is to support the health of your

skin cells with the best, all-natural skin care products. The majority

of the cosmetic products on the market today are commonly made with high

concentrations of synthetic chemicals which can't provide any benefit

to your cells. While they may give you a temporary youthful appearance,

this is only a cosmetic trick achieved with line and wrinkle fillers.

If

you truly want your skin to stay young and beautiful you must make sure

you nourish it with substances which have been proven to support

healthy cells. Healthy skin cells produce ample amounts of collagen and

elastin which is, actually, Nature's beauty secret. Additionally, your

levels of hyaluronic acid, also known as the "youth molecule," can be

substantially maintained with proper cell nourishment.

Some of the

most effective natural substances for stimulating the production of

this essential skin support include Japanese sea kelp (wakame) and Co

Enzyme Q10. Other key benefits can be acquired from additional natural

substances like shea butter, jojoba, avocado, and macadamia nut oils, as

well as, natural vitamin E, functional keratin, babbasu, and active

Manuka honey.

So there you have it! Some easy to follow tips for

anti aging which you can count on for great results. I know if you

consistently use these tips, you'll never be tempted to listen to the

bogus advice of a celebrity again.

My tips for anti aging

wouldn't be complete if I didn't share with you an excellent resource

for some of the best natural products I've come across in my research.

Recovery is the Key to Success

The recovery period for breast augmentation surgery is perhaps the most important part of the process. Be careful to plan ahead so that you are ready to help your breasts reach their full potential.

It's the week before the big day. You've lined up your Mom to come in and wait on you hand and foot while you lie in bed and eat bucket after bucket of ice cream. You've picked out the size you want to be and taken a lot of "before" pictures. It took a lot of thought to finally come to the decision to proceed but you made it. You're as ready as you'll ever be.

Your breast augmentation surgery is in one week. Since you'll be going up a few sizes, you've outfitted your underwear drawer with five new bras but you're still not sure what to expect from the recovery. Well, here are some tips to help you make the most of your post-op.

In the days leading up to your procedure, you want to drink plenty of fluids. This may help to ward off nausea in the post-op, as a result of the anesthesia. Along with fluids, you want to always eat something when you take your medicine after the procedure. A piece of white bread or some crackers will help to prevent nausea as pain medicine can upset your stomach.

Do not, do not, do not drink alcohol within twenty-four hours before your surgery. This is very bad. It could interfere with your blood sugar or blood levels and cause the surgery to be much less effective. If you are a smoker, you want to cut back (or stop) four to six weeks prior to the procedure. Smoking can interfere with the healing process and can even lead to necrosis (tissue death) when you are getting a breast lift.

Right before you go to the hospital, make sure you remove all jewelry and/or piercings. You don't want the doctor to get caught on something and jerk it, causing you to bleed, or it could interfere with the operation. If you have your nipples pierced, these are piercings that you definitely want to take out as they would most assuredly interfere with the operation.

Your wardrobe for the days after the "big day" will need to consist of button-ups or shirts with zippers. While your breasts are tender, you're not going to want to slip on shirts over your head or wear shirts that will fight tightly against your chest. Also, it is a good idea to do all your laundry and dishes before you go under the knife because you are not going to feel like doing it during your recovery process.

A final tip is to have a heating pad handy because your back is probably going to be very sore during recovery. However, a word of warning: do not put the heating pad on your breasts as they will most likely be numb and you could burn yourself without even feeling it.

Breast augmentation surgery can be a great experience and your new breasts can be trophies that you will want to show off but you have to survive the recovery period first. With some research and preparation, you will be well on your way to the breasts you've always wanted.

Purchase Discount Contacts Online and Save!

One major difference between contacts and eyeglasses is that people generally purchase eye glasses less often (generally once every year), while people replace their contact lenses more frequently. Contacts are generally more inexpensive than glasses, but when you consider the frequency at which you have to buy them you might want to consider alternatives that can save you money. When you want to purchase your contact lenses online and you're interested in saving money (and who isn't these days), there are a number of options for you to purchase discount contacts online.

Although some eye doctors offer contact lenses at prices competitive to those on the Internet, it is far easier to purchase discount contacts online. The major reason is the fact that online suppliers of contacts don't have the overhead of a doctor's office. They can easily pass the savings onto consumers. Another reason is associated with the amount of competition on the Internet. Companies are almost forced to offer competitive prices because a consumer can easily find and buy from another supplier. This is especially true since finding a company that allow you to purchase discount contacts online is a matter of just browsing the results entered in a search engine.

Online suppliers of contacts can also provide better discount deals. You can generally buy contacts in larger quantities for a discount. Just make sure that the shipping costs do not increase the price of your order so significantly that you're not really realizing a discount. Something to keep in mind when you purchase discount contacts online is that not all deals are "good" deals. You want to make sure the company that is offering the discount contacts is reputable and offers some form of warranty in case there is a problem with your lenses when they are delivered to you.

Allergist Advice for Stuffy Heads

An allergist can help diagnose what is causing recurring allergies. Here

are some tips to clear up symptoms while they are present.

If you have allergies it can be miserable just to get out of bed in the

morning. The sniffling and sneezing, the watery and scratchy eyes are

enough to drive a person crazy and they often go on for days on end with

know clear cause. Unfortunately, often the symptoms don’t end there.

Many people get asthma, hives, rashes, and infections as a result of

their sensitivity to a variety of different environmental triggers. The

only way to effectively address and treat the problem is to see an

allergist. They will go beyond the basic regimen of Benadryl and Sudafed

to get to the source of their patient’s reactions.

An allergist is a physician who specializes in the treatment, diagnosis,

prevention and management of all different types of allergic diseases.

This means things like hay fever and sinusitis but also people with

sensitivities toward pet dander, certain foods and medications. A doctor

like this will also be able to address acne or eczema that is caused by

makeup or certain soaps. They test their patients of a variety of

different allergens and then determine what the best course of treatment

is. They also offer a few at home tips for helping alleviate some

allergic reactions.

When it is hot run the air conditioning in the house. Not only will it

feel better because of your stuffy nose but also it will filter and

scrub the air of particulates. This can help reduce the amount of

allergens in the air that may trigger a reaction.

If you already have a stuffy nose or headache or sore throat your

allergist may recommend you brew yourself a nice hot cup of herbal tea.

The warmth will help loosen your constricted airways and the steam will

help alleviate some discomfort. A bit of honey and lemon will help

soothe a sore throat and generally make you feel better.

Take a warm bath or hot shower. It is the same reason as inhaling steamy

tea it will relieve muscle aches and headache and the warm moist air

will be welcome in your inflamed and stuffed head. If possible add some

bath salts or oils to enhance the relaxing effect.

An allergist will tell you another good way to clear out allergies is to

run warm salt water through your sinus cavity twice a day. This will

help flush out any pollutants and will have a cleansing effect, although

the sensation is a little hard to get used to.

If these problems are recurring you really should make an appointment to

see an allergist as soon as possible. Something in your life seems to

be making you sick and the sooner you can determine what the sooner you

will start feeling better.

          Before any

of us start looking into hair growth products, or hair loss remedies let's take

a look at our problem first.  There have been many throughout the time of

man who has come across the most popular hair-do of all time.  Why do I

say most popular of all time? Because it has stood the test of time, as century

after century man has sported this look.  Male pattern baldness is

something men dread.  One day you look in the mirror and you notice that

your forehead looks unusually large, then you realize it is your hairline that

is receding.  Over time you notice it just moves back ever so slowly, you

feel helpless.  You think about hair growth products, but hold off hoping

life without hair will hold off as well.  Then before you know it, it hits

you.  The two semi bald spots that once graced your noggin have now become

one.

Okay for real though, joking around aside.  Why does this happen?  By

realizing what is happening we can then make an educated attempt to use hair

growth products that fit the symptoms.  Male pattern baldness is caused by

two factors primarily.  The first is the heredity factor; you know the one

that says because your dad and his dad lost their hair you will to.  (Just

as an aside to make you guys feel better, by the time they hit 30 a quarter of

men will start losing their hair, and by the time they are 60 that number

changes to two-thirds.  So you see it will probably happen to a lot of

guys around you, so don't feel so bad).  Why do genetics play such a huge

role, well I'm not sure.  Unfortunately no gene in particular has been

found.  What has been found is how the mystery gene may activate a bad

relationship in your body that triggers a chemical that leads to hair

loss.  This leads us to…

             The Second

Factor seems a bit odd at first until it is spelled out.  The second thing

that affects you is that wonderful male hormone testosterone.  I know your

thinking how is this possible? How can the same hormone that gives me hair in

funny places (especially during puberty) take away hair in the most normal

place, your scalp?  Well I'll tell you!  One night your testosterone

will sneak away and hook up with the beautiful enzyme 5 alpha reductase,

without using protection.  Shortly after, their illegitimate and EVIL

child is born.  Dihydrotestosterone, or better known by authorities as

DHT.

        DHT starts to attack the

follicles on your head, causing them to become smaller over time until they

vanish completely.  Then you have what is called androgenic alopecia.

See your not bald, you have a medical condition!

While researching keep in mind that any hair

growth products that claim to be a cure are lying.  There is no outright

cure only ways to stop hairloss and/or promote hair growth while actively using

the product.  Once use of the hair growth products stop, so does hair

growth! Until next time you beautiful bald men.

Effective Asthma Treatments

Despite the fact that asthma treatment has progressed significantly over the last few decades, according to the resources online more than half a million people are year and about 4000 others die because of asthma. In fact asthma can be quite debilitating for people who are not properly managed medically, and especially for children.

Asthma treatment is strictly individual for every patient and depends on the age and the severity of the symptoms.

Usually asthma is either hereditary or due to the environment and all the allergens and chemical triggers that enter our respiratory system from there and cause constrictions of the bronchiole airways along with excessive production of mucous.

Other triggers of asthma attacks can be stress, anxiety, strong excitement, excessive laughing. In addition symptoms are becoming much worse during physical exercise or respiratory infections. The cardinal symptoms that alarm for an imminent asthma attack are such as being out of breath, wheezing, coughing and waking up from coughing during the night and chest tightness. If those symptoms appear they should be treated immediately or the asthma attack will progress.

Prescription and non-prescription medication is available for asthma treatment. With the milder and the intermittent cases of asthma over-the-counter bronchodilators are usually more than enough efficient. Moderate to severe cases on their hand do require more profound asthma treatment consisting of inhaled corticosteroids for a long-term treatment and for prevention of the symptoms as well. With the help of those medications both lung inflammation and sensitivity to irritants are being decreased.

For immediate relief of the symptoms in case asthma attack occurs, physicians usually prescribe a short or a long acting bronchodilator. Many of the asthma treatments include a combination of therapies. Immunotherapy for example is a very effective asthma treatment that consists of exposing the patient to increasing amounts of different specific allergens over a certain period of time, usually a few years, and thus reducing and/or eliminating asthma symptoms. The same immunotherapy can be a good option for the patients whose asthma is primarily caused by allergens.

In case the medication does not control the symptoms of asthma sufferers, they should consult a physician. An easy to spot sign for that is the frequent use of rescue inhalers no matter if they are of the prescription or non-prescription type. In such cases a change in the asthma treatment is in order. People with asthma should also be encouraged to exercise on a regular basis in order to strengthen their heart and lungs, instead of having to limit their activity. With asthma well under control the symptoms dont appear even during a physical exercise and rescue inhalers are not needed at all. Information regarding the variety of asthma treatments is available online, as well as from your physician and from all the asthma and allergy centers across the country. Breathe easily!
