A breast augmentation can definitely change your body for the better. This is a surgery performed by a plastic surgeon to increase the size of your breasts. Women choose this surgery because they were flat-chested genetically, they lost fullness after having children or their bosoms shrank and drooped due to aging. Having a small bustline can make it hard to find clothes that fit or look attractive. Once you’ve made the decision to get implants, shopping for clothes will be more fun than ever. Here are some things to think about:

- Wait till the swelling goes down: Initially, there will be swelling but this should subside after a few weeks. It’s best to put off your shopping spree until healing has settled in so that you know exactly what your new body proportions will be. In some cases, swelling is extensive and the patient may worry that she will appear unnatural, but this is rarely the case. Most women’s biggest complaint once their bodies have healed is that they went too small. Don’t worry; soon you’ll know exactly how shapely you are.

- Lingerie: It’s lots more fun to buy bras when there’s something to fill them out. The old days of looking into the dressing room mirror aghast at your Double A’s are over. Now you can choose frilly black underwire styles or creamy colored lacy bras with cups that overflow. Don’t you look great? Might as well buy a bra in every color and some teddies and negligees, too.

- Swimwear: No matter what swimsuit style you like, they’re all going to look better when the top is filled out with curves. Bikini, tankini, one piece or anything in between is going to be much more flattering due to your curvy shape. In fact, having large breasts will also make your hips and waist appear smaller. Finally, you can stroll the beach with pride.

- Blouses: Knits, cotton, silk – all blouse materials hang nicely off your new bosoms. It’s wise to try everything on in order to make sure they’re not too snug or you might feel uncomfortable and not be able to button the front, especially in the initial days. Having the right undergarment will provide the impressive cleavage when wearing low cut tops.

- Evening wear and dresses: Clingy dresses and formal gowns look a lot better when there’s something to cling to. Nothing accessorizes a gown better than full breasts. Many brides decide to have this operation performed before their wedding day in order to look great at the ceremony, reception and on their honeymoon.

- Jackets: Many of your old coats and jackets won’t zip or button anymore after you have implants. Some fitted jackets are especially attractive on a shapely new figure. Even ski coats will suddenly appear feminine and alluring when you have full bosoms.

Shopping for new clothes is huge fun after a breast augmentation. When budgeting for your surgery, be sure you have allotted enough funds to spend on new lingerie, swimwear, blouses, dresses and jackets.
